FRIDAY READS (#20)

It’s finally the weekend again!

It has been a crazy busy week for me. With getting back to the gym, business and resume classes, job interviews, it’s been hectic.

Tonight is my last class for the week and then it will definitely be time to indulge in some binge reading.

10025305I’m currently four chapters into Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare, the second book in the Infernal Devices series. You can click here to find it on Goodreads. I am really enjoying this series so far. I just finished Clockwork Angel and my review will be coming up for that soon so make sure you keep an eye out for that.

8755776Next on my list to read is City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare. Going back to the Mortal Instruments series, this is the fifth book in the series. You can click here to find it on Goodreads. I’m so excited to get back into this series and to figure out what my main man Jace is up to.

Other than that I don’t have much else planned. I’m in the mood where I want to read every single book in the world right now so I have no idea what I’m going to pick up next!

I hope everyone has a great weekend, let me know what you are reading this weekend!

FRIDAY READS (#17)

What is this?! Mallory is actually making a post?!? Sorry I’ve been absent lately, but full time work and full time school has been leaving me basically no free time. I haven’t been doing much reading at all unfortunately. But this weekend I plan to utilize my time a lot better and get some reading done!

I’m going to be working on two books this weekend. First is Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones (click here to find it on Goodreads). I bought this when I went to Munro’s Book Store in Victoria last summer so it’s about time I finally get to this one. Plus I really want to watch the Studio Ghibli film and I won’t let myself until I read it!

And second one I’ll be starting is The DUFF: Designated Ugly Fat Friend by Kody Keplinger (click here to find it on Goodreads). This is our discussion book of the month and I’m super excited about this.

FRIDAY READS (#14)

Today I am in a fantastic mood. I got some exciting test results back, it’s Friday and it’s snowing! What more could I want?

This week, I finally picked up my reading pace a little bit with the help of two audiobooks. The first one being Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? By Mindy Kaling, and the second one being Everyday by David Levithan. I just finished Everyday this morning and it was definitely worth the read! EVERYONE SHOULD READ EVERYDAY. Ha! The book and the action of course.

I think my next read will be Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas. I loved the first book in the series and am working on my review for you guys. I heard that this series gets better and better, so I am looking forward to diving into book #2.

This weekend, I will be spending time with my soon to be step sister and hopefully getting some homework and reading done. I’d love to know what you’re weekend plans are. Comment below!

FRIDAY READS (#13)

Nothing quite like getting a long weekend! I have four days off so I plan on doing lots of reading, blogging and planning, my favorite things.

This weekend I am going to be continuing The Mine by John A. Heldt (click here to find it on Goodreads). This is one of our review books for the month sent to us by the author. I am about 33 chapters in and REALLY enjoying it. I read this every night before I go to bed and I read until I literally cannot keep my eyes open anymore. I hope to finish tomorrow and then I am going to continue on with Stay Out of the Basement by R.L. Stine (click here to find it on Goodreads).
